With just a turn of the large knobs, the bearings are freed of their previous positions. Internal springs that push on the rear bearing mounting posts will automatically force the bearings safely away from the bandsaw blade.
Then, by pushing on the guides rear posts or even using the knobs themselves, the bearings can be moved into your desired spot next to the blade and secured in position by a twist of the identical knobs.
